The start of a new year is often a time for change: as the kids go back to school and we wean ourselves off the Christmas food and drink overload, this can often be a trigger to shake things up and start something new! At Mini First Aid we are recruiting, with opportunities across the UK to own your own franchise or support an existing franchise by becoming a first aid trainer. In these times of uncertainty, take back control by becoming your own boss, allowing you to work as many hours as you choose, whilst having the support of a great team of people behind you!

We thought you might like to hear the experiences of one of our franchisees, Julia Stubbs who heads up Mini First Aid Salford, Bury and Bolton. Julia came on board with Mini First Aid in 2020, and has this to say:

"So, 18 months post-launch, how are things going? Well, I launched in December 2020 and we went straight back into lockdown after Christmas. But Mini First Aid (MFA) were really supportive and, thankfully, it was short-lived. Once we got going again in April things really started to take off. I've always taught adults so it was a happy surprise to discover that I LOVE working in schools and doing the Kids and Early Years classes - they're so rewarding! I've achieved my teaching qualification and gradually added more and more classes to grow my business. And I've made some great friends in the MFA family and other baby businesses locally, too. And just like that, baby number 2 arrived on my first MFA anniversary so I've had a bit of time out following that.

I'm now back at it full speed and just about to launch in a load of new venues. I'm working with a really great Community Interest Company, and I'm just about to launch qualification courses. I'm also about to complete a Safe Sleep Advisor qualification with the Lullaby Trust to add to all the brilliant CPD training that MFA have provided on Burns, Sepsis, Febrile Seizures, Diabetes, Networking and growing your business. I'm really glad I made the leap because I've had total flexibility to work when I want to and the job has allowed me to be with my kids so much more. And now I'm excited to really start growing the business to its full potential and take it to the next level - so here we go and watch this space!"

Julia has earned herself some absolutely wonderful Trust Pilot reviews - here's what her Mini First Aid customers have to say:

"Great for parents. Julia was very knowledgeable and the class interesting and informative. Lots of essential advice".

"Julia was incredibly informative. I feel like this is an absolute must for new parents! Thank you so much!"

"Had a fantastic session learning about baby and child first aid. Very informative session and great to practice on the dolls too! Julia is very welcoming and friendly! She also sells a great variety of first aid products at the end. Definitely recommend!!"
